Enjoy the opportunity of one day owning a home in one of our lovely subdivisions! Our homes are part of a program in which they must be leased for a period of fifteen years. Each year that a certain household occupies one of our homes, they earn a discount and in the fifteenth year, when the house will go up for sale, they are given the option to purchase the home at a substantial discount from the fair market value. The greatest dis-count that a household can earn is 50% if they are in the house for the full fifteen years. Please be sure to ask the manager what year the houses are in for the property that you are interested in!

To qualify to live in this beautiful community with the amazing, below-market rate rents, your total household income must be less than or equal to the income limit for the area as set by Housing and Urban Development. This includes all income from any assets that you may have. The following income restrictions apply according to the number of people in your household and are subject to change.

Housing Plus is proud to serve as a consultant to Lewis McKinney and LMAC Holdings, LLC (a certified MBE company) to provide multi-family, senior housing to the Jennings, Missouri Community. Mr. McKinney’s commitment to serving the Jennings Community is evident by his other senior service developments located in the fourth ward of Jennings. STAR Residences will feature forty-four senior units each with two bedrooms serving individuals aged 55 and older with incomes at or below 60% of the area median income. These senior housing units have an emphasis on affordability with a $100 rent advantage over comparable LIHTC developments. This project fills a much needed gap in the availability of affordable quality senior housing with essential support services for its residents.

As part of Housing Plus, LLC’s ongoing commitment to combating homelessness in the Ozarks, Beacon Village is designed to provide critical housing in an underserved area of the Springfield Community. Beacon Village is located in West Springfield just off west Chestnut Expressway. Phase I offers energy efficient, sustainable, and attractive housing options in 14 duplex buildings and 16 low density apartment units. Combating homelessness requires diligence and a continuing pledge to confront the problem. We are proud to serve as a consultant to The Kitchen, Inc. of Springfield in order to better serve our most at-risk residents. The Kitchen helps transition our residents to living sustainably and self-sufficiently through individual case management and community-geared classes held on site. The Kitchen’s twenty-five years of experience of helping those in need demonstrates their resolve in working to break the cycle of poverty in Springfield. Beacon Village also focuses on serving the special needs community by ensuring that all our units conform to universal design standards, decreasing the burden on residents with special needs. Additional support services for the development are provided by Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri through an on-site resource coordinator. Additionally, the development serves clients of Arc of the Ozarks. Phase 2 will be complete in 2016 and will offer thirty-two additional low-density multi-family units.
